Can Do Beauty Looks from Cannes
From May 16th to May 27th, the Cannes Film Festival will draw stars of every kind to the French Riviera for the last word on fashion, beauty, and new films. While the films themselves may be the reason celebrities are flocking to the festival, the hype lies in what they all show up wearing.
On the beauty front, red lips and dramatic eyes paired with a nude lip are the two most common trends seen popping up on the red carpet, with everyone from Freida Pinto to Eva Longoria to Jessica Chastain trying one or both styles. A minimal look is also the choice for some starlets, with fashionista Diane Kruger, actress Marion Cotillard and supermodel Eva Herzigova looking particularly fresh-faced for the cameras.
As for hair, three styles emerged: the loose waves (seen on Cheryl Cole, Lana Del Ray), the half up (seen on Diane Kreuger, Marion Cotillard) and the carefully constructed updo, in some cases the larger the better (seen on Gemma Arterton, Eva Longoria, Marion Cotillard).
And new girl Jessica Chastain, fresh off her Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination last year, is a hair star showing off all three styles over the course of the festival so far.
