Over 200 parents gather for Safety event in Garwood, NJ

Over 200 parents from the area gathered at the Westwood in Garwood NJ to attend a workshop on “Measures to Prevent your Child from Being Kidnapped, Abducted, or Sexually Exploited.” Alan Robinson from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tackled the subject that no parent likes to discuss but all felt necessary to listen to. Mr. Robinson dispelled common safety myths while providing parents and caregivers the tools to teach their children to help prevent them from becoming victims. The event was hosted by Westfield Moms Town, Christopher Academy The Montessori School, Panda Imprinting, and SEI Construction Inc. These workshop sponsors were happy to make this available to their community not only as residents of the area, but as parents themselves.
